As the Group was restructured and its companies specialised further, the production of concrete sleepers in Austria was separated from MABA Fertigteilindustrie. From January 1, 2007 the production of sleepers in Austria has been integrated into MABA TRACK SOLUTIONS. Production and market coverage of the new company focus on the Austrian market and include concrete sleepers for main line railways and urban transportation. Capacity amounts to approximately 200,000 units of concrete sleepers a year.
Among its main tasks, MABA TRACK SOLUTIONS assumes a role in strategic and technical management as well as coordination of all international activities related to precast concrete parts for track systems.

As of January 1, 2008 the turnout bearer activities of MABA TRACK SOLUTIONS GmbH were transferred to a new company, TSF-A GmbH. TSF-A stands for Turnout Sleeper Factory Austria and is a joint venture with VAE Eisenbahntechnik GmbH. The joint venture's aim is to make use of each partner's specialised knowledge in order to develop the product sleeper as a whole.
As far as production and market development are concerned, TSF-A focuses on the Central and Eastern European markets. The company's production programme includes turnout bearers for main line railways and urban transportation, annual capacity being about 150,000 running metres.

This joint venture with two Turkish railway construction companies produces pre-stressed concrete sleepers for the Turkish market. In 2007, annual production capacity was increased to approximately 600,000 units. In addition, a production plant was installed with a capacity of approximately 100,000 running metres of turnout bearers a year. The company aims to meet a major portion of the future demand of the large Turkish sleeper market.
DELTA BLOC road restraint systems made of concrete constitute another important segment of production. This European standard system already contributes significantly to improving the safety on Turkish roads.
